When I changed gyms I originally was looking for a workout partner. A friend of mine convinced me to try her gym, Totally New You. The monthly due was higher, and the location was further away. But I decided to try it anyways.
After the first free trial week, I got a warm vibe I never had at the last gym (which I was at for 3 months), so I decided to stay. I never thought I’d like to work out…
Went for my intro visit a little over 7 weeks ago. I was anxious and almost cancelled as I’ve never done well with physical activity. David and Kim very quickly put me at ease and I went through the first session. I’ve had knee joint pain for many years due to multiple injuries. I honestly can’t remember a pain free day for about 20 years.
Within a week my pain had decreased by at least 75%. I’m now pain free most days. I’ve gotten stronger and healthier and to date have lost 17.6 pounds and 4 inches. My energy has increased and I’m finding the workouts fun. (I’ve tried several well known weight loss programs without success over the past 10 years).
