You can easily go to Wendy's and get 3 items from the 99 cent menu and have a high calorie meal. You can also spend $35 at Applebee's for a 1 person pig-out fest. Both would be high calorie (or not depending on choices)

You can feed yourself for 25 cents per meal with rice, beans, and a vitamin supplement as well (meals for Haiti cost about this much) Or you can get organic grass fed beef, fresh vegetables and fruit and spend a fortune (or not if you know how to shop)

My point is that on a Calorie for Calorie basis, eating crap made from GMO crops are way cheaper. When you are in the beat down mentality of poverty, this seems like a good option. Until the medical bills start piling up. Then you end up having government funded medicine to pay for all the pharmaceuticals to "manage your symptoms". Which in reality is coming out of the taxpayers pocket, not "the governments".

If you think about it you Can eat healthy for a decent price. The article is to hopefully cause people to think.

Thanks for the input.

crap article.. where are you getting a super value meal for $3??? Lets face it, fat people super size it, and that at a minimum is 6.50, and thats just lunch.. throw in a milk shake for dinner and thats close to 10$.. so for just launch and dinner, thats $16. Add in snacks and breakfast? Thats at least $25 dollars a day. I know this because i was once a young bachelor. I spent so much money at fast food, and started saving money when i packed my launch and made my own dinners.
My wife and I cook and eat organic food that we buy at publix. We spend about $100 dollars a week, and that includes toilet paper, soap, and a 12 pack of Sam Adams.
The reason why the American "poor" is fat is because they are lazy.. they dont want to work, and they dont want to cook.. That want their food made for them and they dont want to wait for it.

Hey David, just came across your site. Love what you're doing up there in Hendersonville. Looks like we're on the same page with a lot of stuff. Impressive results with the body transformations. I commend you because I know you're doing it the right way. We're doing our thing down in Charleston and just trying to spread the gospel like you. If you ever get down this way look me up. Take care- Shane
